The further we advance in the artistic experience, the more personal, the more singular the experience becomes, and the work of art is the necessary expression of a ‘rich’ subjectivity that is linked to the collective. In these times – which we sense (or know) to be in decline or in serious conflict – it will be the expressions of art that will emanate the signs of a life that is ‘humanly’ alive.
